You didn't mention what your truck was, but I had a 74 F-100 with a 390 in it(the 360's big brother) and ran a 15.2 in my first run. With an autolite 2 barrel! It wasn't until later that I built the engine to my specs(4barrel 750 Vac. secondary, 10.5 comp., etc,) and put 4.11's in the rearend, that I broke 13.5. Trucks can be fast if you give them a little love. I'll say 17.5 to my fellow FTE'er above with his 20 seconds! Let us know how it goes!

Why a track? Find a 1/4 mile stretch and drop the hammer, no matter you'll still be at or under the speed limit at the end
