hello all,
first post on here i have a 39 ford half ton pick up 91-c i think it could be down as.i have bee looking for
the barrel grille ford coe truck but they seem thin on the ground could anybody tell me how
the 38thru to 40 coe truck differs from the 41 on.i know the hood is different but the cab still has the same
3 belt lines in the body.any suggestion greatly apprecioated.

There may have been running changes to the COE trucks overall, over the years, but for the most part, body wise, they are the same from 38-47. The Grille/Hood will interchange from any of the years. I've known several who had later trucks and put the early, oval grille on them. Welcome to the forum!

thanks for taking the time to reply to my question,my next quest would be to find the oval grille
and hood for it.if you may know of a vehicle breaking or one for sale let me know.
