4x4 automatic trans problem!!!!!!
hi guys this is my first post on this great site im hoping that someone will be able to help me with this big problem i am the owner of a 93 4.0 automatic 4x4 ranger the last few weeks i have noticed that after i drive the truck on the highway i see smoke coming from my truck when i get off the highway i noticed trans fluid leaking buy the bell housing right away i thought it was the front main seal of the trans but what is weird is once the truck sits an cools down it doesnt leak not a drop but once i drive it on the highway it starts again an i have noticed it getting worse. well any help would be great .

Welcome to the FTE Family! You say your 4x4 automatic leaks when you are mobile! This might seem crazy, but it sounds like your trany filler tube is loose or blowing out the filler tube or the O~ring seal is worn! Let's hope it's this easy!COME - BACK!
