Vehicle tech info

Just a comment for discussion. I don't know what Ford does these days, but mopar is certainly not getting an attaboy from me. I have an 18 GC and I went to see about getting the factory service manual. There is no such thing. They have some kind of tech info publication -- but they're quite clear in saying that it won't be updated. Also it has no wiring diagrams.

I believe that you can call mopar for a fee -- and probably go online with them -- but getting good tech info for your very own seems to be gone. Not that the last tech manual I had was a prize winner, but it was often helpful.

I'm guessing that this is a trend.

Ford still publishes service manuals and wiring diagrams. They are sold through www.helminc.com. I just looked up a service manual for a 2020 F-250. It isn't available now, but it will be released on 12-31-2019.
