Safety Neutral or Something Else?
I have had this truck for a few months and am still tracking down issues in it. One of my first projects was to pull the clutch pedal assembly and lubricate it. When I put it back in, I damaged the plastic piece for the safety neutral. I personally don't care about the safety neutral, so I bypassed it, first with a fuse and then yesterday just by tying the two wires together.
The starter motor always engages for a cold start, but it seems for a warm start a number of times there is no starter motor activity. It doesn't even click. The other day, I tried like a dozen times to turn the engine on and then finally it just turned on. On previous days, I would try two or three times until the engine cranked.
I just replaced my positive battery cable and one of the negative cables. The old ones had corrosion and missing insulation.
Any ideas on where to go from here? I suppose the next step would be to check voltage on the starter motor and work backwards from there to the ignition switch.

I had some ghetto rigged NSS in my truck and you would have to lean under the dash and push the button just to get the starter to turn over. When I did my body swap I just bypassed it completely and have had no issues.
check the wire to the starter relay and the Ground on that Relay too.
I guess I should add... check the linkage from the Lock cylinder to the Ignition switch too, that can be a source of Grief
