So I went shopping for a new Ford a while back. When I wanted a 2018 Expedition, Superior Ford told by in Oct 2017, I could expect delivery in February or March. So I went to Morries in Buffalo and took delivery at the end of November 2017. Morries motto is Buy Happy Own Happy. Not quite true. I was unable to get a safety recall for almost a year.
Second row center seat bolt. First they told me no parts were available. Next they told me they would send me a post card when parts were available. Several months went by and when I called again, they told be I needed an inspection to see if my vehicle needed the recall. An appointment for a 5 minute inspection could be scheduled 6 weeks away. The other choice was to leave the vehicle at the dealership and they would get to it when they had time. That was pretty much it for me and Morries. Later I found out that Morries failed to inform me about a $750 rebate from Ford available for veterans.
In September 2019, I went to North Country Ford to buy a new Escape for my wife. She ended up liking the Lincoln MKC better than the Escape. When we picked it up the next day, North Country Ford inspected my Expedition for the safety recall while we completed the paperwork for the MKC. I can not say anything except good things about North Country Ford. They will have my business for sales and service from now on.
It is Troy. Still tough to sit in the woods for 4-1/2 days and not have a shot. But maybe that is better than two of the guys having shot at and missed 5 between them. Haha
I guess I will drown my sorrows in rum and 80 degree weather for a week.
