No deer for our group. Two of the guys both missed two deer each. WTF? I saw two the first morning with no shot though. Never saw another one all weekend.
Going again Wednesday after work through Saturday morning. Hopefully with better luck.
Well, Jay - it's always nice to see deer! Especially if it's more than the flag running away.
Jim - you got a dahs of snow out there. I tune into WDEV each morning, and have been getting pictures of plowing out Burlington this morning.
I've submitted that I'm not headed into the woods this year - first time in ~25yrs. Between family stuff and living in suburbia, it's hard. Last year I made the ~2hr drive up to Rum River and saw some deer, but it's a push to get up there and back for one day.

I'm not really sure what they got for snow in Burlington. Looking at reports seems like 6-7". In Orange got around 3". Most of the storm for us was sleet and freezing rain. Opposite of how it typically goes. Going to be damn cold though for this time of year. Single digits at night.
Our rifle season starts Saturday. Going to start out around 0 with a high in the mid teens. Cold for sitting
