In a few days I will be going and picking up a set of American Force wheels with tires. I am planning to put them in the bed of my truck, but am worried about potentially scratching etc. Anybody have any suggestions with hauling wheels/tires? Thanks.
A piece of carpet works with the face of the carpet facing the wheel finish side, You can also use the moving blankets available at places like harbor freight.
I know they are heavy but they will bounce so I myself would lash them down somehow if possible
If it were me, if there I any protective covering from the dealer I would leave that one and then as suggested, carpet or heavy blankets and tie them down so they don't bounce.

1. Put first tire/wheel in laying flat on the car-facing side
2. Put the next one in laying halfway on the first
3. and so on
4. and so on
5. Drive home without swerving, jumping, landing on roof, etc.
Even more protection from adding shrink wrap (like they use on pallets of stuff) and straps.
