so I'm doing my build for my future TT towing. timing is close as I approach retirement .
starting with a new 2019 f-450 drw 4x4 LB lariat trim. I have the 5th wheel prep kit and have the goose ball and puck system.
I decide after looking at a bunch of trailers, I could get by with a large bumper pull TT.
My truck bed got a leer Z series top and I recently got the deck drawer system. This would give me flexibility with tools and storage outside of the TT as well as some utility capability for transporting supplies.
I'm at the racks and power phase of the internal truck bed area.

pros nd cons from the masses would be welcomed.
I am looking also and the Grand Design units are my choice so far. Owned a Holiday Rambler from 97 until 17 and am about to go back to camping as the kids are about to finish college. We could not find the time to camp when the youngest was playing "Big 12" sports. We traveled everywhere but pulling a camper was out of the question for weekend trips to the midwest, Texas, Florida, California as well as other places. Grand Design seems to be well built but my mind could be changed. Good luck with your search.
