1980 F350 I beam upgrade questions.
I have a 1980 F350 2wd with Kingpins, I also have an outlet for a complete front end components from a 92 F350 with Ball joints. Would like to do this swap but was wondering if this is a bolt in or??? Has anyone done this on an F350? Thanks. Any info would be helpful.

Are both trucks pick up's or CC trucks?
If both are the same models then I say dig out a tape measure and measure mounting points if they are the same between them.
I think why you don't find much on this is 350's and some what 250's is they are used as work trucks not play toys like the 150's.
Being for work they are used up in a short time and not worth doing this kind of swap on.

Do both truck use leaf springs and TTB's?
If so and someone can measure the other truck maybe from the inside of the frame rails to the beam pivots and pivots to spring mounts.
One thing I just was thinking about do both truck use the same lug nuts and pattern?
Also brake hoses, Metric or American ends?
What is wrong with your suspension, what would it run to fix it?
How much for the ball joint suspension that is an hour away?

Should bolt right in. I know the d60 KP vs BJ does, as long as it's from the same type of truck and an f350 (dually, C&C, standard srw, etc). I dont deal with 2wd so I'm speculating.
All 8 lug for axles since the 60s and through 97 are 8 on 6.5". When the superduty came out in 99, they went to the sterling 10.5 axle which is the 8 on 170mm pattern.
