Topside leaks exit through an exit port on the right rear of the engine. There is a fuel line that runs down the passenger's side head that has a bracket midway that wears through the line and causes a leak. You can look there and at the drain valve on the back of your fuel bowl. They're the two most likely culprits.
There is a filter canister up top by intake manifold.
The seal eventually leaks.

I need to clean the calley.... but the fuel bowl is wet looking, bits of smoke poofing like something dripping, just unclear where, exactly. Guessing the fuel bowl gasket is what was mentioned?
Start at the HPOP/fuel bowl and trace back towards the firewall. It’s most likely on top of the engine. I recently had a loose hex nut on the DS of the fuel bowl, tightened it and all is good.
If the fuel bowl has never been over hauled, it is pasted time. O-rings all worn out.
It will take you about 2hours and 6 beers.... or 45 minutes with ice tea.
