Electrical
The T connector came w 4 wires to flat.
From that flat I plugged in another flat to the 7 pole connector.
I know all this can be misinterpreted over some chat on Internet.
ill provide pics.
Thanks again for all help !
This is the wire up I did to the factory harness. Not pretty but will clean up once wiring problems solved.
This is the T connector inline w factory harness. The 2 wires not connected are a ground and power when lights on.
Well if you can look past the super goofy editing I did to trace the relevant circuits on this diagram, here’s everything powered by the tail light/marker circuit. I couldn’t get everything in one snapshot, so the arrow represents power from the fuse box.
You should see battery voltage at the brown wire with switch in the marker or headlight position. If not, the issue is upstream of that point, so you’ll want to keep tracing the circuit back towards the battery. Start by measuring voltage at the tan/white wire, then at the fuse.
If you do have battery voltage at the switch, I recommend pulling one of the cab marker lights and checking voltage there - if it’s also low, the problem might be with the splice after the switch (circled).
Also, it occurred to me that it doesn’t matter if you have the trailer light relay because you tee’d into the tail light harness for your trailer plug, so the power for your plug would still be coming from the headlight switch circuit.
