Question for Number Dummy
I realize this is a totally off topic request but.........Are you able to provide PNs for other FORD trucks of similar vintage?
If so, I am looking for PNs to search out NOS battery cables for the stablemate to my 75 Highboy, my 76 Bronco with a 302 engine
Thanks in advance.

The positive cable is a 'blue' universal "fitz-all" similar to the one sold by auto parts stores. I listed the car parts catalog applications for the puppy.
D1PZ-14300-A .. Positive Battery Cable - 6 gauge 10" long (Motorcraft 7106) / Obsolete
1971/77 Bronco & Maverick/Comet // 1974/77 Pinto/Bobcat I-4 & V6 // 1975/79 Granada/Monarch // 1978/80 Pinto/Bobcat V6 // 1979 LTD/Grand Marquis.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
D2BZ-14301-A .. Negative Battery Cable with Ground Strap - 26" long (Motorcraft WC-8122-A) / Obsolete
1972/77 Bronco.
EARNHARDT FORD in Chandler AZ has 1 = 480-893-0000.
AUTONATION FORD in Memphis TN has 1 = 866-219-5755.
SUNRISE FORD in North Hollywood CA has 1 = 818-980-9800
RED MCCOMBS FORD in San Antonio TX has 1 = 210-357-1420.
SUNTRUP FORD WESTPORT in St. Louis MO has 1 = 314-429-4455.
I'm being told by two of the Ford sites provided above that D2BZ-14301-A ..is for a 2014 Fiesta not a 76 Bronco with 302.
Do Part numbers get recycled/re-used for later model vehicles after a period of time or are PNs assigned forever ?
Can you confirm the PN is correct.
Thanks

The Bronco cable is obsolete, probably since the 1980's. Do you think that Ford would still have a listing for it? Hell no!
Once it was obsoleted, it disappeared from the price book within a year. Since the number was recycled, the only application is the Siesta.

D = decade 1970's / 2 = 1972 / B = Bronco / Z = Ford part. Cable fits 1972/77.
But Ford recycled this part number prefix.
I typed the number into the FoMoCo dealers online parts catalog: Fiesta.
Here's the pic of the page from the 1973/79 car parts catalog that lists (4th entry) D2BZ-14301-A / Motorcraft WC-8122-A / U = Bronco
Why are you checking FoMoCo sites? The cable is obsolete, I listed the only sources for the puppy.
And, if you had typed the Motorcraft part number on those sites, you know what you would have seen? Nothing, zero, zilch, nada, because the Motorcraft part number has been obsolete since Reagan was prez!
For clarity, I wasn't checking FoMoCo sites, I called two of the suppliers you identified with potential inventory in post #2 to purchase the cable.
One sent me a pic of the part they had, along with the package that identified it as D2BZ-14301-A
It was absolutely the wrong part, only about 10 inches long versus 26 inches with a sheet metal battery connector versus a heavy molded lug that looked perfect for a Fiesta

I will contact the other sources you listed to see if any are the "correct" D2BZ-14301-A.
Thanks again
