That is a great question. The format of the Classifieds was recently changed to what FTE now calls "Marketplace", and membership use of Marketplace is currently under discussion among FTE staff.
What, in your opinion, would encourage you to "actually look at member Marketplace ads on the forum" more?
I actually looked prior to posting this post.. I have something to sell (Full set including headrests Marathon RealTree seat covers for a 2017 250-XLT Crew Cab) and wanted to see if someone else had the same thing to get a feel for a price. If I were needing anything, I would probably check here first since it's folks with the same type of vehicle I have.

Quoted and noted.
I'll send your feedback to the folks in the control room upstairs.
If anyone else has any feedback on how FTE can help you casually (not commercially) find, or find a home for, parts to the type of vehicle you have (a 17 and up Super Duty), please add your comments to this thread.

Yes, I have a brand new 2017 SD part I bought and never used. I would love to offer it to one of our members at a big discount!
From what I viewed today, everything for a particular model is grouped together regardless of model year. For example, if you're looking for an F250 part, parts for F250's from any year are going to be under that heading.
Maybe group them by generation so that a person isn't scrolling through parts listed for 1960's models when searching for a part for today's trucks. I know it would probably create a headache for those running the show to maintain all of these extra headings. But it would simplify shopping for the user. Screenshot below shows the current setup.

+1 on this, If I were able to look at 2017+ super duty parts I would check it every day. But as it is now I have to look at f250 and f350 and weed through all the posts from the older trucks, it just gets annoying so I stopped looking.
