leaking black box beside engine mount

leaking black box beside engine mount
After replacing the oil pan on my '92 I-6, I notice that the funny looking tall black plastic box (looks like it has two round ***** on the top) mounted to the truck frame just to the side of the passenger side engine mount is leaking fluid.
It has two plastic hoses going into it, and a short metal hose coming out of it, and it seems the short metal hose is where the leak is coming from.
Anyone know what the box is and how to fix the leak?
