Wiring Plan needed

Hi Guys in this section. I post quite often in the 1948-1956 section...I own a 1955 at this time fully functional and mostly original C600 truck that is named "Ethyl *THE* Tool Truck(ETTT) . I also have a restomod project named Edith. Edith is a 2002 "E" 550 with a 1955 Cab on her chassis.

The 7.3 powerstroke engine and EOD automatic trans was repositioned about two feet back and several inches lower than when the 2002 Van Cutaway body was used. I want to end up with an old look and the function of the 2002 for the most part. I say for the most part because I dont think I know of a way to incorporate air bags....would like to have the cab tilt more than it currently does so that will mess with gas pedal and brake pedals....etc..

.My question is on making wiring. How do I best do that...I have the stock harness but it needs to be lengthened and otherwise modified to function in this cab. I presume cutting and splicing is not suggested to keep the computers happy... basically I have NO prior experience with this and while I am proficient with a power probe, multimeter, scanner and my soldering skills are good...Im not sure where to even start....

Right now the original harness is just hung from various places on this old cab////its a real mess...up until last week that factory harness was in a big pile on the floor.....I came back from vacation a year ago and my helper took it on himself to remove the engine and body and in doing so just disconnected everything ....no photos no labels etc....I was NOT happy...With exception to the steering column for the 2002....all the other 2002 things like the gas pedal, speedo cluster are here.

I want the engine to run NOW so we can move the 28 feet of truck around. We have reconnected everything and seem to have all the computer/ modules/ sensors talking to each other as of last night..A click of the starter switch engaged the starter for a second..the fuel and a few other as of now undetermined things are not connected ... there are basic brakes and while it is not engineered well there is also steering...The drive shaft is not cut to fit yet either. but I still want to have this start up....

What do you all suggest for a wire harness....I would like to use Dakota Gauges..I phoned them and they said they can do what needs to be done for the cluster...no hints on wiring though....

ETTT and me so you can see her mostly stock 1955 C600
