1994 F350 7.5L coolant leak inside cab

Having a coolant leak inside can on the passenger side. Coolant is dripping from dashboard. Any suggestions on what this could be and how to fix it?

Welcome to FTE!

It is most likely your heater core.

Moving you to the forum for your truck where you can discuss how to get in there and swap it out.

Good luck with it!

As ,mentioned, most likely your heater core.
But,,,,about a year ago on a week long vacation trip in my '91 7.3, wife noticed the smell and a wet spot on the carpet. No sign of a leak under the hood near the heater box. Kept an eye on coolant, ordered a new core, and replaced it. There was no sign of a leak upon examining the old core, looked perfect. Replaced heater hoses while I was at it.
Eventually, I pressure tested the heater core, no leak. Apparently, one of the heater hose connections was leaking, but running down the inside of the firewall into the heater box, no sign under the hood.
So maybe pressure test your core before going to the trouble of removing it.

That sounds like a good idea I’ll look into doing that this weekend.

In the excess coolant container it is also turning black not the coolant but the clear tub.
I was told it’s because it’s an older truck and the ground connections could be disturbed? Is that a possibility or is it going to be the head gasket.
