Crankshaft positioning sensor location

I have a 1989 F150 with a 5.8 l. Is there a crankshaft positioning sensor on this motor and if so where?

Not unless someone has changed the engine from what it originally had.

Some documentation refers to the Profile Ignition Pickup (PIP aka Stator) sensor as the Crankshaft Position sensor. It is located inside the distributor.

Good info here: Stator (aka PIP)
