My new Mini Maxx sits at my parcel pickup place. My 2010 F-450 sits idle in my driveway with shiny-new DPF delete and EGR plates installed (coolers and EGR valve remain, but exhaust gases blocked from entering coolers). I'll be receiving the tuner this week.
I've watched two YouTube videos on Mini Maxx setup. Apparently the only question asked about deletes is as follows:
"Is the emissions system still present on this vehicle, or has it been removed or modified for high sulfur fuel use?" (answers: present, removed).
My question: What will the Mini Maxx assume about my EGR situation (plates), and what will it do as a result? Close the valve and kill the codes? Does the tuner automatically assume a full delete? Will it assume that the EGR system is operating normally because all the sensors and electronics remain connected?
Finally, if someone chose to leave the EGR stuff entirely intact, and only delete the DPF, would the tuner know? I'm surprised they ask only one question.
