Morning guys, Just experienced something with my 2011 6.7 that i've never ran across. This morning i went to move my truck into the garage and it wouldn't start. It would turn over but it seemed like it was getting enough fuel. It would run like crap for a second or two and die. It did this 3 times, during which it didn't throw any codes.
Would a low battery cause this? Im running optima bats red and yellow top. I think their less than 3 yrs old. This is the only thing i can think of it being. I noticed i left an cell phone charger in the charger over night and the ac was on. I pulled the charger out and turned off the ac, the truck fired right up.
I haven't been able to investigate further, I'm driving a buddy to the airport.
UPDATE
this afternoon I was loading my kids up as we re running out the door. I had turned the truck on via auto start so it could cool off a bit. I put the key in and it went into low power mode. It threw a P0191 code. I turned the truck off, went an inspected the fuel pressure sensor wires and made sure they were all connected. Turned the truck back on and no more low power mode. I cleared the codes and no issues so far. What do u guys think is causing this? I have a module, it’s been on the truck for over two years with no issues. Is it common for these wires to get loose?

Reason: Update
Perhaps it is the cardboard disk in the fuel tank issue often mentioned here. Someone might come along and give better information on just what happens in this case.
Do you have two different types of batteries? Not a good idea, they need to be the same and of the same age.
The truck keeps throwing the code. I've had it come on 4 times today. Every time I start it, the truck goes into low power mood. I turn the truck off and it goes away. Anyone have experience with this? Its never done this while driving. Im assuming its some sensor somewhere. I'd like to get this fixed.
Any additional DTCs? What do you mean by you "have a module?"
You could check the voltage, even though this trouble is apparently random so that makes troubleshooting difficult. The PCM supplies a 5V reference signal.
The FRPS is on the high pressure side (left fuel rail) so be very mindful of the high pressures on those lines if messing with it.

I’m with lynnmor, something in the tank blocking the pickup
