I’m entering my 79 F150 into its first show this weekend, and I’m looking for a good prop idea. In the past with other cars, I’ve used picnic baskets, surf boards, etc... Does anyone have any ideas from the 70’s? I was thinking of an old Coors Beer case, but that’s hard to find apparently. Thanks!
Here is an idea or 2. Kim Lewis from Extreme Make Over would work. Or this eye catching hitch insert.
If it nice enough to take to a show, you do not need a prop...that is for chevy guys to get the judges to look else where. LOL Just be THAT guy that let the sharp Ford truck do the talking. Here is my beater at the local fun run.
Good luck and have fun. For a funny prop put a recliner in the bed with a mannequin in it, dare to be different. Other wise think Halloween theme?
Yes they are funny like that aren't they? I always like a Metal Cloak CTI (Corner Travel Index) trailer as an attention getter. Sorry no pics of an ol Ford truck or even an early Bronco on one. But I am still looking.

we have an RTI ramp for shows we put on or goto. Would love a trailer setup, but too much $$$ hah. We use it More to show off fab skill & inginuity
Thanks for ideas! My truck is no show winner by any stretch, so I’m not looking for points or anything. I’m just entering it for the sake of the show. I always thought the little props were neat. Not the ramps and large stuff, but the little things like period items in the bed or seat. I’m just drawing a blank on anything 70’s related.
I have an old Honda 70 3-wheeler that my son says I need to fix up a little to have strapped in the back of mine for such a prop. Got anything like that?

Ohhh or a Honda Odyssey (no not the dumb car) the 70s off road cart
You can find old coke coolers all day. Will pay a pretty penny for them, but it may work for ya. Also see old bikes in the bed as my local shows. Guess it depends on what the truck looks like
