Turbo Hissing?
I have a 2002 7.3 PSD with a Diablo 54/78 chip. 4" downpipe and exhaust, K & N filter.
Just noticed a hissing sound from the turbo that I haven't heard before. It only happens after I floor it and immediately back off to zero throttle. Sounds like a hissing sound for about 1-2 seconds.
Seems to run fine otherwise, maybe slightly rougher idle. I toggled back to stock program and it still does it but not as loud or long.
I am currently in a higher altitude then normal (6000' instead of 1200') and the temps have dropped into the 50's?
Any ideas on the hissing sound? Normal?
