o.k. I put this in the truck section but it seems every one is saying it will take to much fabrication, not putting anyone down but what do my fellow big block freaks think.
1989 f150 2 wheel drive 300 six 5 speed, I have 1973 460 c-6 from an LTD can I swap it in, what will I need this is not a money pit just a mild build up for haulin ,towin and eating up the competition once in a while.

The only major things to be concerned about are motor mounts, a big enough radiator, and the right bell housing/clutch. Been done more times than I can remember at this point, not really that big of a job or too much hardship. Go for it

no big deal. In fact I put a 454/TH400 where my 300 six/NP435 was- Bolted straight into the frame horns- I just had to make a new crossmember for the trans (pc. of sq. tubing) bigger radiator, new drive shaft and a automatic column.
