With all the adjustments on a Holley, where do you start? Does any have a good web site for reference or know the order of operations when tuning them? All the books I've read say all the stuff you should do, but they dont tell what order to do them in and I am sure that is important.
Are you wanting to change jets to tweak it? You would need a air fuel gauge to really make the most of a carburetor tune. Otherwise set the idle and go, if it runs problem free then your set, or at least that is what alot of people do. Main things to check out of the box is set the float level and the idle and it should run pretty good given you didn't purchase a carb too large for your cfm. Don't know if any of my ramblings have helped, so good luck hope you get it lined out
well start by doing spark plug readings to see if your running rich or lean, and buy a vacuum advance spring kit so you can adjust when the secondaries come in, if your not getting any bogs or stalling then leave the center squirter and accelerator pump alone. DW
