So you're 4 miles away from this reported 500 mi forced active regen once at operating temp. Now we can see how many miles you make it before one is commanded. Does that factory exhaust screen not report at KOEO? Even as good as your truck is, at nearly 500 miles you should absolutely have more than 0% reporting.
Hang on brother. I'm outside on my phone because my 7 yo is buzzing around on his electric scooter. I'll pull up the lap top soon? Did you upgrade the software?
Yes I believe that is the DPF soot load which is in grams. The DPF SOOT LOAD % PID did not work before the latest update on mine. When you turn on the truck and the iDash boots on... when you see the boot screen with the teeth, the version number is on the bottom. The new one is 1.18.1. Here's my pics... That's the soot load % on top right.
That's what you need to chose, the one on top, "DPF Soot Load Percent." It's under Emissions. I didn't see the other one like you have displayed in grams. Do you have this one? I also don't see the distance since last regen PID in mine either. I'll have to look again at one point.
So drove the truck this morning out to the trailer yard and back. Total miles was 29. Hwy speeds around 55 to 60 mph. What I notice is if my EGT 4 stays around 450 the truck holds at the same or close to the same DPF % full level.
What we all know is also true, stop and go on the way back yielded a slight build in soot %.
My conclusion on that issue is my truck passively regens more than anything else. Therefore, my regens are quick and few.
DPF Distance since last regen did not move, even though I drove 29 miles. So that value must be a recorded value from the last two regens, I can distinctly recall a regen 1st week of Sept. I can also recall last week my soot % according to the truck had reached 35% but then I went on a 100 mile run with the trailer and now it is at zero% on the dash.
Trans temp, oil temp are pretty close to the readout on the idash.
Heres another though on the readout of the dash vs reported values on the idash.
Several report the exhaust filter % either will not go to 100% before a regen or will not go to zero upon a completion. Mine has always read full before a notification and then goes all the way to zero. The readout is not accurate!
Another thing I noticed is that soot builds up faster when using the EB. I leave my gauge Oil temp and trans temp on display to monitor those. I monitor ECT, fuel level %, OLM and fuel pressure at the HPFP from the DFCM. I am still going to go ahead and buy a OBD2 adapter and FORScan to turn on the 3rd screen for DPF % to compare it. But as long as I learn what my truck is doing with the iDash soot % PID, I know when I can expect a regen or at least have a closer idea.

That last 18 mile REGEN of mine, when the moment the iDash showed the regen status as OFF, it read at 19.7% As I was still on the expressway and running hills, it went to 0.0% 11 miles later by passive REGENing.
I'll know more when I enable my 3rd Ghost DPF screen.
