Relocating Air Bad Control Module?

Relocating Air Bad Control Module?
2005 E350---would like to re-locate the air bag control module from its factory location under the driver's seat up to 12" towards the rear----I use that space for roadside emergency service tools & supplies on other vans and would like to do that on this one as well. The only thing I physically see that'd be of concern is this module does have an arrow and text saying "forward"---that can be replicated in its new home without problem
Does anyone here have personal and/or direct experience doing this? Perhaps info in a link or such? If so did it cause any issues relating to the SRS with DTC's etc?
