Door Sensor

Can someone tell me where the door sensor is on a 01 superduty. My door ajar light is staying on and I had to pull my fuse to turn out the dome and cargo lights. This has hapened only one time before but it stopped after I restarted the truck. Thanks for any help!

One word. WD-40. Common problem, easy fix. Spray it generously into the latch mechanism. Happened on my F-250 & dad's Expedition. WD-40 fixed both. Never re-occured. This fix works about 90% of the time.

Powerstroke....watch out if you pull fuse 19..I believe it also works your wipers. Don't want you to find yourself with no wipers in the rain.

I know it was supposed to be number 14 but that was alreadt empty it turned out to be like 3 or 4 Its still working for now thanks for all yalls help.

wd-40 worked on mine. Its happened a couple of times after, just keep spraying as needed!! Does anyone know what dealer says about this?

Welp, I sprayed the crap outta mine, and still no light when I open the drivers door. Other three doors work fine. Should I spray it some more, or try something else?

I know you don't want to hear this but, I would pull the switch ( I can't remember if these are normally open or normally closed) You'll have to unplug the wire and then maybe short the wires toether to see if the switch is bad. While you're in there you'll probably want to go ahead and replace it.
