Need a remote start 2015 2.7
I'm looking to buy a remote start for a 2015 f-150 xlt. Cell phone app would be sweet but it looks like that requires subscription.....basic is fine. Anybody have recommendations?

There is a company by the name of 12V Solutions that makes a kit that runs off of your factory 3 button key or has a smart phone option and if I remember correctly PlugnPlay offers one also. I have a 12V Solutions and like it a lot. The only drawback is I have to be in range to reset at the end of the 15 minute cycle to start the vehicle again. Supposedly the phone option allows you to restart from your phone no matter what the distance maybe. I use the RS mainly to keep the Lab cool in her kennel if she is with when I am running errands.

on 09-14 F150s you could add remote start easily for less than $100 by adding factory parts. Is this the case for 15+ models? OEM remote start is less than amazing with range, but its usually the cheapest if you do it yourself.

I just put one on my F150 - it took like less than 5 minutes to do. Here is link:
