I picked up new tie rod ends yesterday, NAPA PROformance brand. Made in China, but I couldn't source any Motorcraft parts here locally. I've heard that the Moog parts are made in China as well, and that these particular parts are comparable to OEM, if not better, that the manufacturing facility has strict standards. Anybody know anything about this particular brand?
I've used Napa Ultra Premium products on my brakes with absolutely no issues (except for a pair of front hubs which did not have the ABS reluctor rings installed, which they responsibly replaced for me at no charge almost three years after buying them).
I'm also running a full front suspension set of links and tie-rod ends from Napa which now have about 150k miles on them (probably about 8 years of driving - no offroading). They have given me no issues at all, and I'm about ready to proactively replace the entire set once again so they match up with the life of my brand new front ball joints.
