I'm looking at buying the relay harness upgrade.
Anyone uses the graveyards version? It looks nice enough.
Is there a better one out there? I am working too much to scavenge the pieces together.
I'd rather just get a kit and plug and play so to speak.
LMC's doesn't look anything special and thought I read it wasn't either.
Not sure who else sells one, googling gives me lots of chevies.
I bought 2 of the LMC ones for different projects many years ago but have yet to use 1.
Now my son took one and used it in his YJ Jeep and said it helped till he went with HID head lights.
I am getting close to using one in my 81 but cant tell if it made the light out put brighter, nothing to go by truck not on the road yet, but I will not have all that load on a headlight switch and why I am doing it.
Dave ----
it isn't so much for a brighter light, more because the wire is bare with electrical tape around it.
It disappears into the sheathing? so no idea how far it goes like that. Don't want to start ripping it up till I get the kit.
So it should get replaced and what better time to do the relay upgrade.
