P1744 issue

P1744 issue
So I had the P1744 issue all of sudden out of the blue. It had one hard shift between 1st to 2nd gear and it drove fine 30 miles until I turned it off and turned it back on the overdrive light started to blink then the check engine light came on. I drove it home and put some Lucas transmission fix in it and disconnected the battery to reset the PCM. It drove good for almost a week then started to act up but this time 1st to 2nd gear would wind up and not shift until I took my foot off the gas then it would shift. She's sitting now until I have some time to put her on the lift but where would I start? Anyone else have something like this happened before? Thanks in advance!

Here are a few possible causes..
.Low transmission fluid level Dirty transmission fluid Faulty torque converter clutch solenoid valve Torque converter clutch solenoid valve harness or connectors Torque converter clutch solenoid valve circuit is open or shorted Transmission internal mechanical problem

You need to have some one with an IDS or an equivalent scanner run a few tests and see if the solenoid is responding..
