Does anybody know what the cast aluminum piece that the lower radiator attaches to on the engine block side is called?? Motors a 03 5.4 2V with 70k on it.
Pretty sure I have a corrosion issue that’s causing a small leak but for the life of me I can’t find a name or part number.
The radiator attaches to a metal radiator support. https://www.tascaparts.com/auto-part...r-support-scat The only piece that I know is aluminum is the rad core itself which has an upper and lower aluminum strap, tubes, fins and side pieces that are crimped to the radiator side tanks. The aluminum core can't be repaired that I know of so the complete radiator has to be changed if leaking.
I was referring to the lower radiator hose attaching to the block side and I found the answer.
Its called a oil filter adapter plate. Looks like a bunch of fun to get off and replace.
Thanks for the response.
