I just noticed I'm leaking coolant. It drips onto the y pipe and I come out to about a pint of coolant in the morning. Any ideas or should I just bring it to my mechanic? Thanks!
The plastic intake manifold can develop cracks, or the gaskets at the cross-over on the front of the intake manifold can fail. The leaking coolant runs into the valley on top of the engine, fills it up and eventually runs off the back right side of the block and pours onto the exhaust. Take a flashlight and look for coolant on top of the engine behind the alternator.
