You know, I am retired. As a Mission of Mercy, if I had a car trailer and an economical towing vehicle, I would deliver rust-free vehicles to our rust-belt bretheren. It just kills me to see what many, out of truck-lust and desperation, are forced ( so they think) to buy. Just say no . . .
Tons of similar low/no rust vehicles are available , which would put people years and dollars ahead. A little footwork, a co-operative fellow FTE’er to scope out a potential vehicle to start, may be all it takes.

And if we junked all our rusty slicks and spread the "plentiful rustfree slicks" all over the country, do you think they're would be enough left for you??
News flash, Ford doesn't build them anymore. "WE" do.
I think so, Eric. I only ever need one old truck at a time., and had my 59 for twenty years, prior to switching to the 66 last year. I can only drive/use one at a time, they’re tools to me.
Since these trucks are everywhere how about a 1966 longbox painted springtime yellow/Wimbledon white and delivered to Canada rust and dent free please and thanks.

They laughed at me when I said I was going to paint my 65 Ranger F250 Chrome Yellow and Pure White. I think it would be stunning.
They are the folks on this site. looked at the Chrome yellow as more contrasting. My 66 in Rangoon red ( more brick red/orange) is to me more stand out than say blue or brown and that was my thinking. Chrome Yellow is Fords longest running color started in 60 or 61 from what I can find and they are still using it.
