Happy Thanksgiving Ford Fans!

Talk about distracted driving, Holy Cow! I'm not sure why Ford made the mistake and called that electric car a Mustang but it seems like a mistake to me as well. The one thing I don't get with electric cars is the grill? Now to me the cars would look better if it had a distinctive grill, I know it doesn't need one but it sure would look better.

Happy Thanksgiving to all from the outskirts of the close and convenient Burbank airport. My daughter just landed and I am waiting for her ready for pickup signal. Enjoy your day!

The Mustang wagon was an aftermarket conversion, the fellow who had the conversion work done worked for Hollywood Sports Cars. He also owned a 1953 Studebaker Commander Starliner.

He had hoped that FoMoCo would like it so he could get the contract to convert them, but FoMoCo wasn't interested.

Fortunately we get very little snow or ice...and if we do it doesn't stay long.
How are you doing today Pop?

It is a rather grey and dreary day outside though. We have had nothing but sunshine for about the last month, until today.

Plenty of icy YouTube videos out there of slippery driving, best not to go out when it’s like that. The Job may trump that wish though...

Thanks for asking!

Three weeks post-surgery, still recovering from having my second total hip replacement. Still some pain while walking.

I'm in great shape, mentally, but physically I'm REAL slow right now.

Looking forward to the first total knee joint after the current recovery period, then I'm taking the summer off from Sawbones.

Mid-fall of next year should see me getting titanium replacement parts in my other knee. Then I'm done in all four "quarters"!

How are you doing, nowadays?

It takes a lot of patience to go through all of that...I truly admire that you have kept your spirit up all the time.

I am doing better, I went from being told that I likely would die of cancer a few years ago, to having no energy, till now when I feel about half as strong as I used to be, but alive, and my last check up was still clear of cancer.

If you're like us, though, you still have to sit on pins and needles until that report comes back.

Marge is three+ years a survivor, and we still take nothing for granted.
