exaust?
whats your opinion on best exaust systems for a 2003 3.0L v6 2wd ... i really want to go w/ flowmaster but alot of people here seem to like gibson ... i want a deep rumbleing sound .. tell me what u guys think

SYNTEC i was thinking on next year i want to use the flowmaster on my truck and it has the 4.0. dont know much on the gibsons but how ever the mustangs sure sound great from a traffic light with the flowmaster. its your choice

I curently have the Gibson. It's not a loud system. It's definately louder and much deeper than stock, but from what I've heard, if you want it to be loud go with the Flow. As for me, I am very happy with the sound and performance of Gibson, and if I ever get another truck, will get it again. The Gibson claims to be designed to benefit more at lower RPM's than the competitin. It definately has more power now but I have no experience with anything else so have no idea if their claim is true or not. I will say that the installing the Gibson was one of the easiest installations I've ever done. I think either would be good but like I said, if you want loud then Flows are probably the way to go. If you want to be able to hear your radio or hold a conversation and still get good performance gains, then I would say get the Gibson.

Hey I have a 03 edge and I just placed a Gibson single side swept cat back and it sounds and looks great. But next time I think it will be the dual exhaust that exits behind the rear tiers. Oh and intallation was simple one cut and two bolts the the stock exhaust was removed.(be sure to use wd40 to remove the old exhaust from the hangers) Other then that its a simple install.
