Leaving lights on " Auto" all the time

I always use auto, and only turn them off when I get in or out and my knee rubs the switch. It turns them to “on” and I am only aware when the chime goes off. Maybe my switch is a little more sensitive than some?

I'm with you, I've never used it in any vehicle. Guess I'm old school on some things. I like at least having some control of things on my vehicles! Lol

Have had mine on auto since 12/15/2010.
Only time I don’t is when towing, then I turn them in manually so the RV is lit up.
Bonus when left on auto.
If it starts raining and you turn on the wipers, even intermittent, the headlights come on.
Good for those states that require it.

The "Auto" setting is just one more thing making drivers dumber. Just like all the morons running around with just their DRL's on a night. No tail lights, no marker lights...just dim headlights with the driver chugging along like nothing is wrong.
