Hello,
I got my engine and transmission back in my truck and got everything filled up and ready to go.
When I first fired it up it started making a high pitch whistling/ screeching noise (will post video in a bit). It changes with the engine revs and runs after when I turn it off. I know it’s not much to go off. I hope the video will give y’all some ideas. It’s a 351M with a c6 transmission from 1981.
I am kinda out of ideas. So any thoughts are welcome.
Does your truck have air conditioning? My truck's AC sometimes makes a squeal for about 10 or 20 seconds after shutdown, as the high and low side pressures equalize.

Reminds me of when thieves broke into a police station and stole all the toilets. Police were not able to find any clues and reported they had nothing to go on...
Well, I found the problem and thought I should share it. I am a little embarrassed to say it, but it seems that the culprit was a loose sparkplug. Seems like the compression went around the threads and made that noise. I must have not tightend them enough when I put them in. I appreciate your help very much though because I found that I had the previous owner had put the wrong starter in it and it actually contacted the torque converter. So I probably prevented worse.
