2010 Explorer V8 transmission
We've had this about 7 years. I had the transmission flushed by Ford at about 30k miles. It's got 145k on it now. Transmission has been acting up recently, not shifting out of first gear and some shuttering too. I want to flush it again, but I think I should replace the filter. I'm having a hard time finding the part number for the filter for the explorer. I can find the non truck, deep pan, filter number. Can you help?

If it's not shifting out of first and it has a shudder I would say it's time for a new unit. The 6R60 needs routine fluid changes or else the solenoids will stick and cause damage they also have lead frame issues. The filter is very easy to get from a local Ford dealer or Tasca just use your vin number to pull the part number.
