Lost chip

So my truck has a push button start installed on the r ight side of the stearing wheel and next to it there is a little black chip and I lost it what is it also when truck is left to idle the exsost smells like Elmer's glue any help would be much appriciated

None of the 1987 to 1996 Ford F series trucks ( the forum where you are posting your questions) have a start button anywhere.

and none of the 87 to 96 trucks have a security chip either. so whatever you are talking about was added on by a previous owner.
