I have a 1997 7.3 f250, when I turn the blinkers on it will blink normal for 1-2 seconds then start rapidly blinking. Could this be a bad ground, rubbing wires, or relay issue? I have no clue, please help me.
Remember, there are 3 marker bulbs to each headlight. 1 of those 3 being out can cause you the issue.
otherwise you might just have a bad relay.
I went through a bunch of them till I took a chance and got the "heavy duty" one or whatever that looks like it wont fit, Well it works good. hahah and it fits.

It would have to be bad relay, I went thru all the bulbs yesterday and they were good, and replaced some anyways for the fun of it but still both blinkers are doing it
i tried using synthetic blinker fluid, but it leaked out of the cracks in the old wires cause it was thinner.
so i had to flush the system and put authentic Motorcraft blinker fluid back in
