2000 Excursion Rear Bumper

I searched the question, and checked the tech folders, couldn't find an answer.

I have a chance to buy a NIB Show-n-Chrome rear bumper that was ordered for a 2999 F350 for $200, seems to me that everything I have read, the frames are the same, so the bumpers should be the same.

Am I correct?

Can't remember for 100% sure, but I'm fairly certain the rear bumpers are not the same. And its worth noting the frames are only the same as Super Duty from the frame splice forward.

Well shoot..........not the answer I was hoping for. Jackknifed a small trailer a couple years ago, put a little tweak in the stock bumper, was hoping for an quick, easy fix.

I'm fairly sure the center plastic step insert is the same between the two models, at least I think the part number is the same. So in that case the bumpers might be the same.
Someone might want to check the bumper part numbers.

This is very futuristic

All year Superduty bumpers from 1999 - 2016 will fit on the Excursion. You will need to retain the Excursion mounting brackets to get the right spacing. I have used bumpers from a late model Superduty on my 2 Excursions. A 1999 model will be identical to all year Excursion rear bumpers.

Thanks, I might have to give it a try. $200 for a brand new after market bumper is a pretty good deal.

If you like the newer style bumper, you can find superduty take-offs for less.
