Cam phaser lockouts

Has anyone ever put in camphaser lockouts on their f250 5.4 if so how was putting them in and how do they perform after installing. My phasers just sh** the bed on me and I need to get replacements was thinking lockouts so I dont run into this issue again

If you don't mind giving up all the low end torque than lockouts are okay. For practical use they are terrible and I advise just doing the proper timing job and being done with it.
