Both headlights went out
Happened before and against my better judgement I bought two new bulbs and replaced them and low and behold they worked. Didn’t make sense why both would go at the same time. Happened again with headlights and taillights- replaced them all and they all worked.
this morning both headlights are not working- pretty sure I can do the same thing and they will work but what would cause them to go at the same time? Marker lights and tail lights work so I may just replace the switch. Looked at the tech folder for some ideas as well.

Had the same issue on both of my 2000s, and it was the switch. I believe the contacts in the switch became worn or corroded. The 2002s use a slightly different switch with the pull out for the fog lights but most of the other internals should be the same. Do the headlights illuminate when you pull back the turn signal switch to flash?
