I had the same issue as you & everyone told me it was this or that. I bought a brand new rad (Motorcraft) on bay for like $110 shipped, OEM temperature Stant Thermostat 190? IIRC, Aftermarket brand Water Pump, & a Hayden Brand HD Fan Clutch from rockauto. It was a bad Fan Clutch! Replace yours

Glad you got it fixed. Any pics of the shiny new radiator installed? Were you able to cut the old one open and check it out?

I stole that thing but it’s been in for awhile cause the truck hasn’t been running well. But it runs a lot cooler for sure. Haven’t taken the old one apart yet but it was plugged.
