74 f100 2wd reg cab. Guys my accelerator pedal jumps around at idle while in gear. I believe it to be worn bushings in the pivot point on the pedal. Although I have searched with no luck to find them online. Can anyone point me in the right direction. Thanks..
Please, when asking questions, list all the pertinent info.
What size is the engine?
I'm sorry. It has a 351w. The accelerator rod is not hitting the engine. I suppose I shoud ask does the accelerator pedal pivot point have bushings that can be replaced?

No 351W's in F150/350's until 1981, so what was the size of the original engine?
There are no bushings associated with the accelerator pedal. I'll post the parts catalog pic once I know what the original engine was.
The bottom pic that ND posted, there is a spring behind pedal pad 9760 base #, Pin or bolt that holds pad onto arm goes through center of it and it puts a small preload on pad. Keeps pad from flopping around. Most Fords from Pinto's to Lincolns should have one of some sort if they have pivoting pedal pad. Different styles depending on type of arm, solid or U shaped formed steel.
I have this style pedal, the pad itself doesn't shake to bad the entire arm moves around. I removed it this afternoon and both bushings are worn out, but I don't see anyway possible to replace them.
Guess it would be best to look in classifieds here, a few members had parts for dentsides. Every truck came with one so should be good supply. Use your pic to get exact part.
