Our old trucks
My boys and I love "Pumpkin Truck". He big, bad, and pretty reliable. That said parts chasing is WORK. If they are to be had(brakes). No trouble keeping the running gear up or finding parts. I have no desire(or$) to have any newish 2 ton truck. But should the time come for Pumpkin Truck to retire, what year would I need to be at to have readily available parts. I have always like the 1970's medium Ford's, but they are probably like my 1960. Of course I would want something between F500,600,700, or 800. Air brakes would fine. Kinda of scared of Lucas brakes. Thoughts?
