05 6.0 ?

Getting some off EOT readings. Usually with a few degrees of ECT, but sometimes 40-50 degrees cooler than ECT. Purchased new sensor. Standing in front of truck, looking down at oil filter, where is this sending unit? Thanks

You will need a speacal socket to remove. It's a real thin walled socket.
I made mine on a grinding wheel and a deep 1-1/16" impact socket.

Thanks for the info and heads up on the socket. Will buy a cheapo and grind it down.

I didn't highlight that. I figured you would look at diagram and see where temp senser was at. That was highlighted when sent to me. Should have clarified that. Sorry.
