Which Starter for a 4.9L?
Hi,
I have a 1996 F150 with the 4.9L, manual transmission.
I am going to go to the pick and pull to get a new starter. I'm trying to figure out which starters will fit my truck. Looking at the catalog on rockauto.com it looks like the starter is different between the manual and automatic transmission trucks? Is this true?
It also looks like the 4.9, 5.0, and 5.8 all use the same starter....
