I just acquired a stock AM/FMstereo/cassette from a fellow Ranger to replace my '88 stock one. This 'new' one, we believe is from an early '90 F-Series. It is DIN mounted..so I had to modify my 4 screw mount to accomodate. The stereo/cass works great and I now have LCD displaying the station. Does anyone know if the stereo readout displays the TIME as well? I cant figure out how to set the clock...if there is one. I do not see a 'clock' button on the set.
Thanks for any feedback.
Unfortunately not. No digi camera.
The Display is in the top left corner with the cassette slot next to it. Below the Display is the Pwr,Audio and AM/FM buttons, below that is the Volume +/-. To the right of that is the 6 preset channel buttons. Followed by the Search +/- button.
Not sure if that info is any help, but I would sure like a lite clock ..if this set has one.

Looks like this... http://oem-auto-accessory.com/cgi-bi...mplates/60.jpg

Also noticed on this site that there are 2 radios that look the same. 1 with clock.. and 1 without. I think I got the 1 without a clock.. which sucks. Cant see a clock button on this either.

Try with the radio off and truck on. Try pressing each button to see if one turns the radio on. If not try pressing and holding each button one at a time and see if that does it.
I'll try more buttons this time...but I have my doubts. Looking at the 2 pics of the 2 diff radios, I suspect mine is the one without a clock.
Thanks for your feedback PrPlayboy.
